In 2015, the Fat Farmers concept expanded beyond Yorke Peninsula, connecting with other farmers across South Australia. Fat Farmer groups (or teams) are now dotted across the state and include a diverse range of producers (cropping, grape growers, almond farms) and with groups catering for a variety of fitness levels and ages, from school children to retirees!

Each of our groups has a volunteer Team Champion who keep things organised and represents the group at our bi-annual team meetings. Our group structure would not be possible without our Champions - we are so grateful for the time they give, week in and week out.

In 2025, we're excited to now note that we are represented across 4 states, South Australia, Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia. With over 30 groups, we cannot wait for where the next few years takes us.
