Fat Farmers Founder and fifth-generation South Australian Farmer Ben Wundersitz, was recently crowned the overall Inaugural Bush Champion, and Ag Winner at this year's Bush Summit held in Ballarat.


"Dubbing themselves the “Fat Farmers”, Ben saw a noticeable improvement in their physical health and significant mental health benefits too, fostering mateship and social connection. There are now 35 Fat Farmers groups nationwide."- Herald Sun Article.


The National Bush Summit, held in Broome (WA), Mount Gambier (SA), Toowomba (Qld), Wagga Wagga (NSW), Ballarat (Vic), and Darwin (NT) over nearly two weeks. Organised by News Corp Australia, the Summit celebrates and advocates for regional Australia, addressing rural community challenges and bringing light to the divide between metropolitan and regional areas.


Ben was one of nine other shortlisted candidates for the Ag Champion award, from across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, he was the only South Australian!
