City to Bay 2025

Despite the less than ideal conditions (only the third time in around 50 years, and one of the wettest ever!), the Fat Farmers team had a fantastic day.

With over 140 people participating in a range of distances either walking or running, or attending our luncheon, we are so proud of every single person for simply showing up. A large number of our Fat Farmers groups were represented on the day; Loxton, Robertstown, Minlaton, Wallaroo, Adelaide, Meningie, Maitland, Freeling, and Owen - it's an achievement in itself to travel from these rural areas to the big smoke for an huge community event like this.

We've had a new winner of 'The Annual Largest City to Bay Group Award' too - Fat Farmers Balaklava! Huge congratulations to the Catford Family and all other members who attended.

We were joined by two incredible guest speakers, Tom Jonas (ex-Port Adelaide Football Captain) and Nat von Bertouch (ex-Australian Diamonds Netball Captain), who spoke around their experiences as professional athletes. Even being top of their game (literally), and participating in incredible sporting opportunities, they both dealt with their own struggles around mindset, confidence and self-respect. We thank them for being so open and sharing a few things we can all do to be the best version of ourselves.

Our sponsors showed incredible support too, whether participating in the City to Bay or joining us for lunch. Thank you to Elders, Rabobank, Brentnalls, Achmea Farm Insurance, Agworld, CommBank, Refuelling Solutions, Seed Terminator and Shearwell Australia.

We can't wait to do it all again next year (hopefully without the rain!).
